  Formal religious instruction consists of study of the Bible, Christian doctrine, church history, catechism, memory work, and hymnody.

Homework

Students can benefit by developing the habit of home study.

All students will have 20 to 30 minutes of daily work to complete at home, Monday through Thursday. This includes studying spelling words for the test on Friday, practicing memory work, and reading.

• Kindergarten through second grade will have minimal other homework.

• Third through fifth grade students may have an additional 30 to 45 minutes, Monday through Thursday.

• Sixth through eighth grade students may have an additional one to two hours of homework, Monday through Thursday.
